You may be wondering what I mean by “other products“. Basically this is anything other that stamp sets and dies. It can be ribbon, Designer Series Paper (DSP), dollies, washi tape, embossing folders etc. the list goes on. Cards often need a little more than a stamped image cut out with a die. These products are ones that really add to a card to make it look special and complete.
My Top Ten “Other Products” From the Occasions Catalogue:
Number One: Candle Punch (page 7)
This is punch is great for adding a cool design to a card or creating a fun edge.
Number Two: Sending Love Embellishments – wood elements (page 15)
A nice subtle embellishment for a card. Either a heart or flower and a few different sizes to choose from.
Number Three: Watercolor Pencils (page 24)
I love these pencils. I have used the a lot with the Beautiful You stamp set and blender pens. They colour so well when blended. They look amazing on Watercolor paper with an Aqua Painter too!
Number Four: Urban Underground Embellishments (page 47)
These would really accentuate a card, especially when using the Nailed It Stamp Set and Build It Framelits Dies!
Number Five: Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (page 47)
This is a new style of embossing folder. It is called a Dynamic folder as it is thicker than the other embossing folders and therefore making an extra deep, super crisp impression. Check out page 46 of the catalogue as it shows you how to use it with in your Big Shot so it fits okay.
Number Six: Falling in Love DSP (page 51)
This is a beautiful paper. Lovely soft colours. It coordinates so well with the other ribbons and embellishments from the Falling in Love Suite on pages 50 and 51 of the catalogue.
Number Seven: Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon (page 51)
A lovely soft ribbon in Very Vanilla to coordinate with the Falling in Love DSP.
Number Eight: Lace Dollies (page 51)
These dollies have been very clearly designed. Sometimes you need Whisper White in a project and sometimes Very Vanilla. These dollies are Whisper White on one side and Very Vanilla on the other. So you just need to buy one pack and you can choose which side you wish to use!
Number Nine: Falling in Love Embellishments (page 51)
A very pretty embellishment with some sparkle too.
Number Ten: Falling Petals Textures Impressions Embossing Folder (page 51)
This is a standard style embossing folder and has a pretty petal image on it, although I think they look like hearts.
