Thursday’s Tip: How To Re-ink Your Stampin’ Up! Ink Pad

By | 4 January 2018

Today’s tip is a short video showing you how to re-ink your Stampin’ Up! ink pad when it starts to get a little dry.  All you need with your ink pad, is an ink refill in the same colour and a plastic spoon.

Reink, ink refill

Stampin’ Up! have a great range of ink colours which all coordinate with cardstock, ribbons, Designer Series Paper and other accessories.  Being able to re-ink your ink pad makes it possible for you to always have an ink pad inked up and ready for use.

My advice would be to always buy the same colour ink refill when you buy a ink pad (or soon after – before you forget!) and then that way, you will never get caught out with a dry ink pad.  Buying ink refills is especially important when you buy “In Color” ink pads, as these colours are only current for two years.  If you have the 2016-2018 In Color ink pads, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum, I would suggest buying ink refills for these soon.  They will retire at the end of May and ink refills in the retiring In Colors often sell out about a month before!

Check out this video and see how easy it is to re-ink you ink pad.

If you need to purchase some ink refills for your ink pads you can find them here.

Last year, on most Thursdays, I shared a tip with you and I will continue to do this again this year.   I hope you will come back each Thursday to see what tip I have for you.

If you wish to see some of the tips I shared last year, you can take a look here.  One of my most popular tips and YouTube videos was this one How to cut and score A4 cardstock to make cards.

Enjoy the weekly tip posts each Thursday. Remember to stock up on your ink refills.  They can be used for more than just re-inking your ink pad.  Perhaps that will be next week’s tip!
