Thursday’s Tip: Bonus Stampin’ Trimmer Tips

By | 4 August 2016

Last week I shared about the Stampin’ Trimmer.  Like I said then, I use mine lots.  Here are a few more tips that I  have thought of since last week.

Bonus Tips:

  • When you are cutting with your blade, rather than press it down quite hard as you cut, make sure you hold the ruler part down firmly instead and then gentle slide your cutting blade to cut.  You will not need to press your blade down so hard and you will still get a nice crisp cut, so hopefully this will make your cutting blade last longer too.
  • Keep an old cutting blade, one that has gives you whispery edges when you are cutting your cardstock.  Label it with a vivid “old”, so you know that it is an old one. Use this “old” blade when you are cutting things like window sheets, laminated pages, etc and then you will save your good newer blade for your cardstock!
  • Make sure you have spare cutting blades on hand, so that when one does start to go blunt, you have a new one ready to use!

Sometimes it is hard to know what tips you would like to know.  If you have some specific tools or products you would like some tips on, please comment below or email me and I will do my best to share my tips on using these products.

I hope you have found today’s bonus tips useful and please remember to let me know what other products you would like tips on.
