Thursday’s Tip: Adding Dimension

By | 22 September 2016

This week’s tip is about adding dimension to your card.  I rarely make a one layer card.  Instead I like to add layers and I quite often dimension to my card.  This can be easily achieved with Dimensionals or now also the Foam Adhesive Strips.

Adhering a sentiment with a Dimensional or two, helps it to pop off the page a little and make your card more interesting. Check out this card:

The white card base and leaf stem are adhered directly onto the card.  However I have used Dimesionals beind the yellow flower and also for the “For You” sentiment, although a little hard to see in the photo.

Dimensionals come in a pack of 300. Sometimes for smaller or narrower areas you can cut them in half to get even more use out of them.

Stampin’ Up! have also recently introduced the Foam Adhesive Strips which are great for shaker cards and spinner cards. the strips are slightly higher than the Dimensionals so if you need some extra height, this is the one to use.  Yesterday’s card was a spinner card and feature the Foam Adhesive Strips.  You can check it out here.

If you would like to purchase any Stampin’ Up! products, and you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would love to be your Demonstrator.  You can either order online through my online store, or email me directly.  Please also check out my Loyalty Programme.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I hope you will give it a try if you haven’t already and add some dimension to your cards with Dimensionals and/or Foam Adhesive Strips.
