Thursday’s Tip: How To Make Quick, Easy Cards

By | 23 November 2017

One way to make some quick, easy cards is to use Stampin’ Up! Note Cards.  These Note Cards come in both Whisper White and Very Vanilla.  They are a pre-folded card and come with an envelope.   They are smaller than a standard sized card so you have less room to fill up, but they are still big enough to make a lovely card.    They come in packs of 20 so you have plenty cards on hand to you.

I often use these note cards to make a thank you card for my customers who order with me.  Check out some of these thank you note cards.  You will see many more if you do a search on my blog on the right hand side with the keyword “note card”.

If you would like to know more about each of the cards you see below, click on the photo and you will be taken to the post.

Sometimes I stamp on another piece of Whisper White slightly smaller than the card front.   There are a few reasons for this.  One is if I make a mistake, then I don’t waste the note card as I can just start again on another piece of cardstock.  The second reason is the layering adds to the card. And for this particular card, it also so I  can wrap some twine around the front of it.

One thing to remember with the Note Card is that you don’t want to add to much onto the front of the card, otherwise it will be a very tight fit trying to get them into the envelope.

If you are wondering how big the Note Cards are, here are the measurements:

Note Card: 5″ x 3½” (12.7 x 8.9 cm)
Envelope: 5⅛” x 3⅝” (13 x 9.2 cm)

I am sure you too could also make some lovely quick, easy cards with these Whisper White and Very Vanilla Note Cards.  I would love to see your creations too, so please feel free to share photos of your creations too.
