New Weekly Blog Feature

By | 16 February 2015

Welcome to my new weekly blog feature. Each Monday I will feature a Stampin’ Up! stamp set, bundle or product.  On following Tuesday and Wednesday I will feature the same product and show other ways to use it.

This week’s featured product is a bundle.  The Basic Butterflies stamp set and Butterfly Thinlit Dies.

Here are some Note Cards featuring the Basic Butterflies stamp set that I made for my customers who purchased from me last month.  I used four of the 2014-2016 In Colours; Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey.

When I stamped the card above in Tangelo Twist, I did a mistake with the stamping, so rather than waste the Note Card, I cut a piece of Whisper White slightly smaller than the Note Card front, stamped on this and then mounted onto the Note Card front with Dimensionals.   Which one do you prefer?  Here is a close up of the card.

The Butterfly Basics stamp set is available in photopolymer, clear mount and wood.  The butterfly thinlit die set also co-ordinates with this stamp set.  It cuts out the butterfly shown above as well as includes two other lovely larger butterfly dies, one of which you can see here in another card I made.  Remember that bundles are great as if you purchase the stamp set and thinlits as a bundle you save 15%.
