This two crate pop-up card will wow your family and friends. The two crates inside are made with the Wood Crate Framelits Dies and heat embossed with the flowery stamp from the coordinating stamp set, Wood Words. I have used the Jars of Love stamp set and coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits Dies to fill the crates with flowers.
It is an intricate card to make, but I think it is well worth the effort and the recipient will get a lovey surprise when they open the card and see the crates full of flowers inside.
Here is the front of the card:
And the pop-up inside the card:
This was not an original idea, but cased from Mitosu Crafts. My card front is different from the original with the two layers and some sponging and a strip of the Word Textures DSP. Did you also notice the stretched out Copper Trim on the front of the card behind the sentiment?
This was one of the cards that we made at my monthly weekend class last Sunday. If you would love to come to a class and learn how to make cards like this, check out my Class Calendar and come along to one of my future classes.
So not only can the Wood Crate die be used to make a simple crate to put small cards in or a small gift, you can use it to create a pop-up card like this!
