Hello Kitty Curvy Keepsake Box

By | 7 May 2016

My five year old daughter, Amanda, has enjoyed making lots of different Curvy Keepsake Animal Boxes.  This time she wanted to make a cat or a dog, so I looked on Pinterest and saw a Hello Kitty one which I knew would appeal to her, so we each made one.  This is what we made.

To make the ears I needed a heart shape that was bigger than the Itty Bitty Accents Heart Punch, but smaller than the Sweetheart Punch.  I don’t have the Heart Collections Thinlits (retired), but my upline had a retired three in one heart punch.  One of the hearts was just the right size, so I used that.  My hint for making these boxes is when you are attaching the ears to the box, use Mini Glue Dots.  They adhere straight away!  Check out Thursday’s Tip which shares more about this.

Here is a photo with Amanda with the Hello Kitty Box she made.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you will have a go at making an animal box using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits Die.
