Wishing you a Happy New Year!  I hope that 2018 was a good year for you!  Thank you for being a part of Stamp with Angela in 2018!  Wishing you all the best for 2019!

Favourite cards 2018

During 2018 I enjoyed teaching classes at my home and at the Vero Cafe for my monthly Coffee & Cards class that I start in February 2018.

Here are five of my favourite cards that I taught over the year at my monthly classes at my home.  These classes usually involved a unique fold card or a technique.

Card one: Butterfly & Dragonfly Interactive Opening Card

Dragonfly interactive card, favourite cards

Here is a butterfly and dragonfly interactive opening card.  The butterfly or dragonfly is adhered inside the card and it fits through the slit on the front of card so it shows on the outside of the card when the card is closed.  As the card opens the wings fold up and fit through the slit and it sits open on the inside of the card.

Card Two: Black Ice Technique – Textured Effect On Foil Paper

The black ice technique involves foil paper, VersaMark and clear emboss powder.  It creates a unique effect.

Card Three: Floating Watercolour Technique With Beautiful Day Butterfly

This is a fun technique to try that involves heat embossing, aqua painters and ink refills.

Card Four: Masculine Star Shaped Card

Star card, favourite cards

This card stands up to make a star shape. There are only a few simple supplies that you need to make it, but it still has that wow factor!  You need some Designer Series Paper with coordinating cardstock, a Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score with and then a sentiment for the front.  I used a circle punch and die to cut out this sentiment, but you could use all sorts of sentiments and punches.

Card Five: Inked Texture Embossed Background With Christmas Baubles

This card has an ink embossed background which creates the lighter and darker shading on the texture embossed background.

I hope you have liked looking through some of my favourite cards from 2018.  I look forward to 2019!
