Thursday’s Tip: Stampin’ Up Coordination Is The Key!

By | 21 October 2016

Coordination is something that makes crafting easier and it is one of the unique features about Stampin’ Up! products.

Isn’t it frustrating when you are trying to make something and the colours are slightly different or don’t work together well, or you can’t find something to match what you have already made?   Stampin’ Up! products take all that hassle out of your crafting.  They have created a great range of products for your cardmaking, scrapbooking, paper crafting that all work together so well.

In particular the colours work so well together.  If you decide to make a red card, you use the Real Red cardstock, stamp with the Real Red ink and you can add some embellishments like Real Red Enamel Shapes, or some Real Red ribbon and you know that they are all the same shade of red.

If you use some patterned paper and you use the Designer Series Paper (DSP), these have the same colours from the Stampin’ Up! colour range too. It says on the back of the pack and in the catalgoue which colours are used so you can match the same ink, ribbon, cardstock to the DSP.  And now Stampin’ Up! sell coordinating cardstock packs so you can buy a pack of cardstock with three of the colours from the DSP, so you are ready to stamp and create.

These Diamond Shaped Gift Boxes feature the 2016-2018 In Colours.  The ink is Dapper Denim for the along with one other In Colour colour.  The ink, cardstock, DSP and ribbon all coordinate so well together.

One of my customers, who is now a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and in my team, used to get frustrated when she used ink, cardstock and pattered paper that wasn’t from Stampin’ Up!  She used to spend more time than she need to, to try to get things to match or work together.  Now that she uses Stampin’ Up! products she find it so much easier and quicker to be able to coordinate the patterned paper with the ink, cardstock, ribbon etc.
