I needed a birthday card for a 10 year old boy who loves soccer. After checking out Pinterest, I came up with this creation which is a bit of a mixture of a few different cards I had seen.
To create the clouds, I embossed Marina Mist card with the clouds embossing folder (now retired) and then used bleach on the clouds to whiten them. I used fringe scissors to create the grass.
Trying to work out how to do the soccer ball was a bit of a challenge. I tried adding lines to the seams, but it didn’t look neat enough so I thought it would be better without it.
Here are my first two attempts. I also felt the ball on the right looked a bit too symmetrical.
