Thursday’s Tip: What Adhesive Should I Use?

By | 20 July 2017

Stampin’ Up! have a variety of adhesives to make your card making, scrapbooking and paper crafting easier.  Sometimes it is difficult to know what adhesive to use and when.  Some people prefer tape, like Tear & Tape, SNAIL Adhesive or Fast Fuse, while other prefer a glue like Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This is a personal preference.  But sometimes things like ribbon are better adhered with a tape, rather than a liquid glue.

Check out the chart below to see what adhesive is best to use on what.  Did you know that this chart is in the Annual Catalogue?  It is on page 203.

Here are some other blog posts I have written with some tips on using some of these adhesives.  You may like to check them out too.

  • If you like using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, here are a few tips on how best to use it.
  • If you like to use Dimensionals, check out this post on how to not lose them.

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! now have some Mini Dimensionals?  These are great for smaller spaces or you can use a few more and spread them out over a larger area.  There are more than double the number of Mini Dimensionals in a pack compared to the regular size, so they will go a lot further.   There are 300 regular sized Dimensionals in one packet, and 720 in the Mini Dimensionals pack!
