Today’s card is a two-way fold card. It features the Christmas Happiness stamp set which is one of the new stamp sets that will be in the Holiday Catalogue which will be released on Friday 1st September. I like this stamp set as it features pine cones which I feel are appropriate for New Zealand.
This was the card that I made as part of a team swap. A swap is when a group of us Demonstrators make the same card for everyone taking part in the swap. My group consisted of 20 people, so I made 20 of these cards. Then at our team training on Saturday we swapped our cards with the others in the group. We then ended up with 20 different cards. I will have these cards on display at my new Holiday Catalogue Open Home Launch next weekend.
Here are some photos of the card.
Here is a short video, showing you how it opens up.
This card was originally created by Dawn Griffith, but I wanted to make it to fit our A4 cardstock as well as use metric measurements. I also added a stand to the back to it can stand up by itself.
I will be teaching how to make this style of card at my class on Thursday 24th August and Sunday 27th August. We won’t be making a Christmas card, but using another stamp set instead. Next week I will share with you the card we made. If you would like to come to one of these classes, please email me.
The stamp set I have used is not listed below, as it is not available yet. It is called Christmas Happiness and it will be available from Friday 1st September.
If you would like to purchase any of the products I have used, and you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would love to be your Demonstrator. You can either order online through my online store, or email me directly. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoy seeing this two-way fold card.
