Christmas Reindeer Spinner Card

By | 21 September 2016

This Reindeer spinner card is one of the cards we made last weekend at my class. Christmas may be a little way away, but it was a good chance to try some of the new stamps from the Holiday Catalogue as well as use the  Sliding Stars Framelits Dies from the Annual Catalogue.  The laides at the class enjoyed using these dies which made the spinner part of the card.

We used the Star of Light stamp set to create the background and the reindeer is stamped with the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and cut out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  It is the same punch that is used to punch out the teddy bear and gingerbread man, only the image is upside down.  I think whoever came up with this idea is very clever.

I would suggest that you use the Foam Adhesive Strip rather than Dimensionals when making a spinner card as the adhesive strip is thicker and so it gives more room for the washer or coin to slide around without rubbing against the other layer of cardstock.

Here is the completed card.  This was cased from Rumi Radomski.
