Merry Patterns & DSP Thank You Note Cards

By | 20 October 2017

Today’s card is a simple thank you card using the Whisper White Note Cards, the Merry Patterns stamp set and the Quilted Paper Designer Series Paper Stack.  I made some with a Real Red background and some with Garden Green.

Here they are:

The background of the card is a piece of the Quilted Designer Series Paper cut slightly smaller than the Note Card front.  This makes a quick and simple background.

The candles are done with two-step stamping.  First I stamped the outline of the candles in Archival Black ink.   I then stamped three of the candles in Real Red ink.  Then with a different stamp, I stamped the other three candles in Garden Green ink.  The stamp set is designed so that you can easily stamp the candles in two different colours.  There is also a stamp for the candle flames, so I stamped those in Daffodil  Delight ink.

After I stamped the candles, I cut them out with the oval Stitched Shapes Framelit Die.  When I adhered it to the card front, I raised it from the card base.  I used Mini Dimensionals to do this. I have also raised the banner.  The leaves that I stamped on the envelope are also from the Merry Patterns stamp set.
