Today’s card is a simple thank you card using the Whisper White Note Cards, the Merry Patterns stamp set and the Quilted Paper Designer Series Paper Stack. I made some with a Real Red background and some with Garden Green.
Here they are:
The background of the card is a piece of the Quilted Designer Series Paper cut slightly smaller than the Note Card front. This makes a quick and simple background.
The candles are done with two-step stamping. First I stamped the outline of the candles in Archival Black ink. I then stamped three of the candles in Real Red ink. Then with a different stamp, I stamped the other three candles in Garden Green ink. The stamp set is designed so that you can easily stamp the candles in two different colours. There is also a stamp for the candle flames, so I stamped those in Daffodil Delight ink.
After I stamped the candles, I cut them out with the oval Stitched Shapes Framelit Die. When I adhered it to the card front, I raised it from the card base. I used Mini Dimensionals to do this. I have also raised the banner. The leaves that I stamped on the envelope are also from the Merry Patterns stamp set.
The Merry Patterns stamp set is not one that is for sale. It is a free stamp set for an order or group of orders of $500 or more during September and October. Through the orders in September and October I have received this stamp set. So everyone who has already placed an order through me during these two months, or does so by Tuesday 31st October, will go into the draw to win it. If I receive another stamp set through your orders, then two stamp sets will be up for grabs! This is a small way to thank you for ordering through me and a way to share the rewards with you. And you still earn Loyalty Points too!
If you would like to purchase any Stampin’ Up! products, and you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would love to be your Demonstrator. You can either order online through my online store, or email me directly. Please also check out my Loyalty Programme. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I hope you liked today’s card featuring the Merry Patterns stamp set.
