Here is a masculine star shaped card that is different from your ordinary card and it will impress the recipient. This was one of the cards I taught at my weekend and Thursday class this month. I like to include a unique fold card and this card is definitely that.
There are only a few simple supplies that you need for this card, but it still has that wow factor! You need some Designer Series Paper with coordinating cardstock, a Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score with and then a sentiment for the front. I used a circle punch and die to cut out this sentiment, but you could use all sorts of sentiments and punches.
The card stands up to make a star shape. The front two pieces that are adhered together and have the sentiment in the middle, can be taken off the triangle card base. This means it can go flat and can fit into an envelope It won’t however fit a standard sized envelope. I used the Envelope Punch Board to make a 6″ x 7″ sized envelope
Here is the back of the car, which has space for a message.
