The Truly Tailored Suite is great for masculine cards. Today I have two cards to share that I made using the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper [DSP] Truly Tailored Stamp Set and the Tailored Tag Punch.
Here is the first one: A simple design.
The green, blue and brown colours of the DSP and designs on it, make it perfect for a masculine card. The colours used are Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy, and Very Vanilla.
For this first card I just punched out some shapes out of the DSP with the Tailored Tag punch and then adhered them to the front of the card with a slight gap between each. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set. I have stamped it in Memento Black, but if I was making this card again I would have used Night of Navy to coordinate with the colours of the DSP.
Here is the second card:
For this card I have used a variety of the Truly Tailored DSP, and both sides too for variation. First I punched out the Tailored Tag Punch shape on the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment through the gap and then adhered other pieces of DSP punched out with the Tailored Tag punch, again with a slight gap in between each. This time I covered the whole card front and then I trimmed off any excess DSP.
