Lighthouse Card From The High Tide Stamp Set

By | 8 August 2017

I really like the lighthouse stamp from the High Tide stamp set and I enjoyed creating this scene.

High Tide, lighthouse

I stamped the lighthouse first.  I found it easier to stamp the lighthouse with the outline and more detail first.  I used Night of Navy ink for this.  I then stamped the more solid lighthouse stamp in Marina Mist ink.  I found it best to stamp the lighthouse and then stamp the sand at the bottom afterwards.  I masked the lighthouse and then stamped the water behind it.  I used both Marina Mist and Soft Sky ink for the water.

The sentiment is from the Number of Years stamp set and I cut it out with the Pretty Labels Punch and then I sponged around the edges.  It is adhered with Mini Dimensionals.

Here is the inside of the card.   I like to stamp on the inside of the card too.
