Auckland Extravaganza Petal Passion Impossible Box

By | 13 March 2018

Last weekend we had our first Auckland Extravaganza for the year.   It was a fun afternoon. The guests each made five projects.  There were door prizes, lots of displays, afternoon tea and a prize draw for those who ordered too. Each of my guests also received a small table gift and a decorated gift bag with their instruction sheets inside from me.  The decorated gift bag became useful to take their creations home in.  I will share more of what we did over the next few days.

Kathryn, Nicolette and I taught how to make the Impossible Box.  With step by step instructions, everyone found that it wasn’t actually “impossible”, It was a cool box which people really liked.  It was a nice variation on usual style of box.  Each of the guests made the box and a little card to go with it.

It may look like a normal box, and the box lid lifts up, but it doesn’t come off.  It stays attached!

Here it is looking down.  There is plenty of room to put something inside!

Here is the box, partially opened.

And when closed it looks like this on the top.

This was cased from Julie DiMatteo – The Paper Pixie. We resized ours for a larger sized box.
