The Daisy Delight stamp set is the flower featured on these Thank You Very Vanilla Note Cards. These are Note Cards I made for my customers the other month to thank them for their orders.

I used two-step stamping to stamp the flowers. I stamped the outline flower first in Berry Burst. To colour in the flower, I stamped off the solid stamp first – this means inking the stamp, stamping on scrap paper, then stamping onto where I want it stamped. This makes it a lighter colour, but in the same colour ink. I then stamped the stems in Lemon Lime Twist ink, but I masked off the lower part of the card where the sentiment is.
For this card, I used two new In Colors, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist. I must confess, I wasn’t sure of Lemon Lime Twist colour to start with, but I really like it now and I think it goes really well with Berry Burst. You can see other card I made with this colour combination here.
The Very Vanilla Note Cards are new in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue. In the past they have been available in Whisper White, but now they come in Very Vanilla too, which is a slightly softer background colour. The Note Cards come with a envelope too and I like to stamp on these also. I stamped two of the flowers so the coordinate with the card.
