Butterfly Die and Blendabilities Marbling Technique

By | 26 January 2015

Yesterday I had my first class for the year.  It was my monthly weekend class.  Each month, during this class we usually make two cards/projects and I teach a new technique or two.

The first card we made featured the alcohol markers marbling technique using Blendabilities.  This was taught to me by my upline, Julia Leece.  I also taught my class members an easy way cut out the butterfly die without needing to poke out all the little bits out afterwards.

Here is my first sample card.  The Blendabilities colours I used to create this background were Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight.

For this second sample card I used Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight Blendabilites in my background.

If you would like to learn how to make this style of card and learn some new techniques, I plan to hold a repeat of this class on a Friday morning in a couple of weeks, so please email me and let me know that you are interested.

If you would like to purchase any of the products I used, please click on the link below and you will be taken to my online shop or you can order direct through me.

Come back tomorrow and see the other card we made in class.
