Build A Birthday Box In A Card

By | 28 July 2015

On Saturday I taught at the Creative Inkers Team Auckland Extravaganza. It was a fun afternoon with 99 guests, 15 teachers and a couple of wonderful helpers.  My team, Kathryn, Kylie and I taught the guests how to make a Box in a Card. We used the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack and Build a Birthday Stamp Set.

Here is our project:

The Build a Birthday Box in a Card

The Box in a Card is reasonably easy to put together once you have cut out all the bits as there are quite a few pieces to it with the card wrap around, the box and box lid, and then all the matts and DSP to decorate it all with. We had done all the cutting before hand, so the guests just had to follow our instructions and have fun putting it all together.

Our Extravaganzas are a fun, creative afternoon.  It is a great way to have some time doing something you enjoy doing, a chance to play with some new Stampin’ Up! stamp sets and tools, learn some new skills, and afterwards you come away feeling great after making five different projects or cards.

Here are some photos of the Extravaganza.

If you would also like to make wonderful creations like these and you live in Auckland, then come along to one of my classes at my home.  I hold classes on a Sunday afternoon, Tuesday evening and Friday morning each month.  Check our my class calendar here.  I am available to hold additional classes as well if these times don’t suit.  Just let me know when suits you and your friends!  I can also hold workshops.

During the week I will share the other projects that were made at the Auckland Extravaganza.

Thanks for stopping by.
